Scandal or crime? Scott Mendelson is arguing in his article.
Stating his argument of saying Jennifer Lawrence and many more celebrities nude
photos have been leaked is not a scandal it’s a crime, a sex crime. Mendelson’s
article is very cut and dry to the point not to long and not to short. Many
points were made in the article saying that it is not the actress’s faults for
having these photos leaked on social media.
It’s the fault of the cyber hackers for retrieving their personal data
off their cell phones. Many people could
say it is partially there fault for taking the riskay photos, and there being a
chance there phones can be broken in to and someone getting a hold of the
photos that isn’t suppose to have them. I completely agree to Mendelsons
article. That it is a crime of theft for taking someone’s pictures off their
phone without them knowing, then posting them all over social media. The
celebrities had never meant to have their photos go from only their camera roll
to ever one else’s. We all have the right to
privacy and when someone steps in to it, it is not the fault of the victims but
the person who is violating it. The
celebrities should not be saying sorry or asking for forgiveness, nothing they
did was wrong. They didn’t know this was
coming this was not there goal. No one should have got ahold of these photos
except the celebrities who took them and the people they give consent to. To me
it is never the victims fault and it will never be!
